Introduce
Feedback Given
The following suggestions are given by the user after the experience of my design, and the AI evaluation.
AI Suggestion：
- Functionality Design
- Registration and Login Pages: The login and registration pages are simple, containing essential input fields. The design logic is clear and easy to follow.
- Suggestion: Consider adding more personalized options on the registration page, such as profile picture upload or interest selection, allowing users to experience customization early on.
- Profile and Browsing History: In the profile and browsing history sections, users can easily view their own and others' posts. The profile card design is intuitive, allowing users to quickly get information about others.
- Suggestion: Think about adding an "Edit Profile" button to allow users to modify their information at any time.
- Posting and Interaction: Users can interact with content through likes, comments, and favorites. The icons and buttons are clear, making the functions easy to understand. The design of the "Like" and "Favorite" pages is simple, allowing users to easily revisit their interacted content.
- Suggestion: You might consider adding a "Recommended Content" or "Discover" page to let users explore new content and increase platform engagement.
- Messaging System: The private messaging interface uses a bubble design, following the standard for most social apps. The layout of the messages is clear and easy to read, enhancing user comfort.
- Suggestion: Consider adding voice or video call options to extend the functionality of the messaging system.
3. Settings and Customization
- Background Mode: Allowing users to customize the background color enhances the personalization experience, which is a great feature for a social media app. The option for gradient colors gives users visual freedom based on their preferences.
- Suggestion: Adding a "Night Mode" would reduce eye strain for users during prolonged use.
- Notification and Account Settings: You've included notification settings and account management options well. The design is straightforward, making it easy for users to adjust their notification preferences and manage their accounts. Simplifying user operations is commendable.
I have adopted the following suggestions:
- Added personalized settings to the registration and login pages.
- Added an 'Edit Profile' button to allow users to easily modify their information at any time.
- Added new content on the homepage to increase interactivity.
- Added a friend request chatbox.
- Add the animation to "+" icon.
- Change the home screen icon to the same size and font.
- Add the animation for "history", also show the step to delete user history.
Problem & Improvement
1、Login page
Improvement： I have added user avatars. After users register an account, they can choose their favorite image as their avatar. This avatar will then be displayed on the personal profile page and the login interface
2、Personal homepage
AI Suggestion:
The suggestion regarding the personal profile page came from AI: 'In the browsing history and profile sections, users can easily view their own and others' posts. The design of the profile card is intuitive, allowing users to quickly get to know others.' I have adopted the idea of the profile card.
Problem: I found that the guidance on the personal homepage was not clear and confusing for users.
Improvement： I added a '➕' icon next to the avatar to make it easier for users to find the option to edit their personal information, avoiding confusion with the section for editing personal history.

Lerning page AI Suggestion: Suggestion: Consider adding a 'Recommended Content' or 'Discover' page to allow users to explore new content, enhancing platform engagement. Problem： When reviewing the learning page , I realized it was indeed too monotonous, and it mixed recommended content from the internet with posts from followed users. This makes it inconvenient for users, as they can't browse information, videos, and articles from followed users separately. 
4、Massage pageAI Suggestion: Consider adding options for voice or video calls to expand the functionality of the messaging system. User Suggestion: It would be helpful to display users' names in the chatbox. Additionally, consider adding a "greeting" feature when sending a friend request. This feature would allow the requesting user to send an editable message to the person receiving the request. The recipient could then decide whether to accept the friend request based on the message received. Of course, this feature could also allow chatting, but only if the recipient replies to the message. This way, users can engage in conversation without necessarily becoming friends immediately. Problem： The chatbox does not display users' names, and it lacks other communication tools (e.g., voice or video calls). Additionally, consider adding a 'greeting' feature when adding friends.  (Massage page ) -Added a friend request chatbox.  (Friend search page) Improvement: Based on the original friend request system, a 'greeting' feature has been added. Users can send a message to the person they are requesting as a friend without the request being accepted yet. However, they are limited to sending only one message. If the recipient replies, they can continue chatting; however, they will not be in a friend relationship, so they won’t have access to certain chat features that are available between friends. (The requesting user can only send one greeting message, and if the recipient does not reply, they cannot send further messages.) 5、Add the animation to "+" icon & Add the animation for "history (The above video added animation in "+") Improvement: Add animations to make the icon more agile and interesting. （This video shows how to delete "history"）  （flow map for "delete user history" ）  Improvement: Some pages have been added to make the deletion steps more clear, while not forming a clear "delete" route for users. 6、Change the home screen icon to the same size and font.  Problem: Before changing the icon, the icon format and size of the interface are not the same, so it looks very messy.  (The above picture is the type of icon used) Improvement: After the change, I used the same type of ICONS to make the overall page look unified and coordinated. Figma: "Soulmate" social app |
